The Yale Babysitting Service helps address the need for additional child care options within the Yale University community. This service establishes a link between current Yale University faculty, staff and students to access babysitting services provided by Yale students.

This service can only be used by current Yale University faculty, staff, students and post-docs. To use the service current Yale University parents or guardians that are looking for a babysitter should register as a Parent with your Yale NET ID, and then post the job.

Current Yale Students can register as a babysitter. 

Contact babysitting@yale.edu for more information.  (Note that faculty and staff parents may be eligible for subsdized work back-up care. Please visist the back-up care page on the Its Your Yale website). In addition there another option for babysitting is the Summer 2020 Interim Babysitting Support website. On this site babysitters are sponsord by Yale faculty and staff parents.

The Yale University Babysitting Service (“the Service”) acts only as a clearinghouse for the convenience of babysitters and clients. The clients and babysitters acknowledge that Yale University is not responsible for, and will be held harmless against, any injury, loss, or other damage arising from or related in any manner to the clients’ and babysitters’ use of the Yale University Babysitting Service.
